2000+ ELO rating or maybe a “bug”, blah blah blah. Whatever the case may be, I’m not even a beginner at chess and still cannot manage to beat the computer on the easiest setting on my MacBook.
Suggestions say to learn from where I went wrong in previous games and I gotta say, it isn’t working. After getting my ass handed to me for 30 straight losses, I will definitely say that playing against humans is more enjoyable.
I may not be able to win all the time playing against people, but I can at least say that I have won against human opponents.
I am thinking perhaps the “bug” for the difficulty slider was intentional. Maybe that was the point of the computer opponent winning every game on the Mac.
Computer wins every time, so better play against a human player where there is room for error.
Whatever the case may be, I do hope that the game developers make some changes to the difficulty. I can only imagine how many beginners gave up learning chess because of the computer opponent always winning. Hoping that one day I will be able to beat the computer just once.
